Cheese Buscuits
The easiest biscuits to make! Buttery, salty and delicious

Ingredients
- 8 tbs butter, cold 115g
- 1 ½ cups flour 195g
- 1 ¾ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk, cold 118mL
- ⅓ cup cheese 85g
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Mix flour and seasonings, cut butter into small cubes and use pastry blender or forks to cut in the butter until they are in small pieces.
- Be sure to keep the butter cold so it doesn’t melt.
- Mix in cheese, then add the milk.
- Dough should be shaggy if too dry or there is still flour in the bowl add 1-2 tbs more of milk until it looks about right.
- Drop onto parchment covered baking tray in 3 tbs scoops. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown, brush melted butter on top right after the oven.
- Serve with sausage gravy or country gravy.
- Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
