Ingredients
- 2 Cups All Purpose flour 254g
- 3/4 Cup Sugar 150g
- 2 Tbs Poppy Seeds
- 1 Tbs Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 cup milk room temp 237g
- 1 stick butter melted and cooled
- 1 egg room temp
- 2 tbs lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tbs lemon zest
Instructions
- Get 2 bowls, in one add the dry ingredients, flour 254g, 150g sugar, 2 tbs poppy seeds, 1 tbs baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, mix.
- In the second bowl, add the wet ingredients, the milk 237g 1 stick melted butter, 1 egg, 2 tbs lemon juice, 1 1/2 tbs lemon juice, mix.
- Add in flour mixture, mix gently until just combined. Place in fridge overnight.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Muffin liners are optional, but do help with the cleanup.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Until edges are golden brown.
- You can top with a glaze, just 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 1/2 tbs lemon juice!
